about us

Our Story

We met in the staff service area at the Royal Festival Hall, both handed a tray of champagne to serve at the Westminster University graduation. We got talking and realised we were at the same university, the same year, on the same course, and from the same part of London. We probably should have known then.

Ten years on, after our twenties spent on bougie holidays, long walks and fiercely competitive board games, we're now in our thirties with two gorgeous kittens, our own house, and the rest of life ahead of us.

We're incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful families and friends, and we can't wait to celebrate with all of you.

travel

Getting Here

We're in Grasse, about 45 minutes inland from Nice. Here's how to get here.

1
Fly to Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE)

Direct flights from most UK airports, typically around 2 hours. We'd suggest arriving Thursday 27th or Friday 28th May, or make a proper trip of it.

Flights go on sale about 11 months before, so from around 27 June 2026. We'd recommend booking early as it's half term in the UK that week and they fill up fast.

2
Getting to Grasse

Around 40–50 minutes from the airport by car or taxi.

Car hire — all major companies operate at Nice airport. Compare via Booking.com or the Nice Airport website.

Uber — operates from Nice airport, typically €60–80 to Grasse.

Taxi📌 local taxi company details to be added closer to the time

Train — if staying locally, you can take the train from Nice Saint-Augustin to Grasse — around an hour.

Drive from the UK — some guests have asked about driving. It takes around 12 hours — we'd suggest making a trip of it through France if you do.

3
On the wedding day — please don't drive

There is no parking at the house, and no parking nearby either. A taxi is necessary — pre-book in advance, it's a popular area on a Saturday evening. We'll add local taxi contacts to this page closer to the time.

what to wear

Dress Code

Smart & Comfortable

For Saturday, dress up and enjoy it, but be comfortable. We're in a beautiful garden in the South of France in late May, so think linen, silk, light fabrics. Block heels, wedges or flats are much more sensible than stilettos on grass and gravel.

Ladies — please avoid light blue, as the bridesmaids will be wearing it.

Friday and Sunday are relaxed — come in whatever you're comfortable in, and remember your swimmers!

🌡️ Weather in late May: Expect 22–26°C during the day, dropping to around 16–18°C in the evening. Pack a light jacket or wrap for after dinner.
