travel

Getting Here

We're in Grasse, about 45 minutes inland from Nice. Here's how to get here.

1
Fly to Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE)

Direct flights from most UK airports — typically around 2 hours. We'd suggest arriving Thursday 27th or Friday 28th May, or make a proper trip of it. Flights typically go on sale around 12 months in advance — set a reminder and book as soon as you can.

2
Getting to Grasse

Around 40–50 minutes from the airport by car or taxi.

Car hire — all major companies operate at Nice airport. Compare via Booking.com or the Nice Airport website.

Uber — operates from Nice airport, typically €60–80 to Grasse.

Taxi📌 local company links to be added

Train — if staying locally, you can take the train from Nice Saint-Augustin to Grasse — around an hour.

Drive from the UK — some guests have asked about driving. It takes around 12 hours — we'd suggest making a trip of it through France if you do.

3
On the wedding day — please don't drive

There is no parking at the house on Saturday, and no parking nearby either. A taxi is necessary — pre-book in advance, it's a popular area on a Saturday evening. We'll add local taxi contacts to this page closer to the time.

what to wear

Dress Code

Riviera Chic

Think summery Provence — relaxed elegance with a rustic touch. Linen, silk, soft textures. For the wedding we'd love you to dress up; for the garden setting, block heels, wedges or flats are much wiser than stilettos on grass and gravel.

Ladies — please avoid light blue, as the bridesmaids will be wearing it.

Friday is relaxed — sundresses, linen shirts, smart casual. And Sunday? Come in your swimmers and enjoy the pool.

🌡️ Weather in late May: Expect 22–26°C during the day, dropping to around 16–18°C in the evening. Pack a light jacket or wrap for after dinner.
